Obituary of Leonard Joshua James Peterson
With heavy hearts, the family of Leonard Joshua "Josh" James Peterson from Fredericton, NB, sadly announces his passing on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born in Fredericton, NB, Josh was the cherished son of Tim and Charlene (MacBeth) Peterson.
Josh’s greatest accomplishment in life was his daughter Josie Luella. His world revolved around each moment he spent with her and teaching about his love of the outdoors where Josh was most in his element. He enjoyed any time spent in the woods, working on vehicles, helping a friend, or just repurposing something. He loved taking Remi and Zoey on their walks.
He leaves behind a void that will be profoundly felt by his mother, father, daughter Josie Luella Peterson, chosen son, Aiden Robertson, brother Joel Peterson, half sister Debra “Joanne” Dubbelstein, maternal grandfather Leonard MacBeth, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous dear friends.
Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley (Mackay) MacBeth; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Luella (Devitt) Peterson.
Resting at Ripples United Pentecostal Church on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and where Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, November 8th, 2023. Interment will take place in the Ripples Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Diabetic Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
